Annie Jo Greathouse was born in Alexander City, Ala., to parents Robert and Lola (Osborne) Stewart Aug. 12, 1924 and entered into eternal rest June 11, 2020 in Kemp.
Annie was known to be a very sweet, kind woman. She loved and cared for her family as a homemaker for many years. Annie was headstrong but also very spunky and she loved caring for plants and flowers. She enjoyed watching Nascar on television in which she would always root for her favorite driver Tony Stewart.
For several years, Annie would help with fundraisers for the Mabank Senior Citizens Center, where she was also a reigning “Queen of Mabank.” If there was ever a time that someone was in need of something Annie was always willing to lending a helping hand.
Annie loved playing Bingo and was proud to have been able to drive until she was 93.  She adored the music of Elvis and going to concerts, collecting jewelry, and being with her family. Annie will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 34 years Frank Greathouse, son Rickey White and granddaughter Teresa Pena.
She is survived by her children Wayne, Pat, Barbara, James and Darrell, grandchildren Jason, Tony, Michelle and Richard, great-grandchildren Mark, Ryan, Tonya, Angel, Mathew, Gracie and Hadassah as well as 10 great-great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
The family would like to share a special “Thank you” to the staff of the Kemp Care Center for their love and support while their precious Annie was in their care.
