Funeral services for Bea Archer, 73, of Baytown, were held April 12, 2019 at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.
Bea passed away at Houston Methodist Hospital in Baytown April 6, 2019.
Bea was born Aug. 10, 1945 in the Walton Community to Thomas Richard Womble and Alta Oleta Wilson.
Bea grew up in Walton and graduated from Athens High School in Athens in 1965.
Bea was a retail business owner (Shellito’s in Gun Barrel City) and raised quarter horses for many years.
Bea also enjoyed reading, collecting antiques and old coins and also had a love for the Native American Culture.
She is survived by her daughters Sheila and Dean Turnbow and Kristin and John Howell, grandchildren Madison Howell and Logan Howell, brothers Altos and Dean Womble, Eldon and Allie Womble and sister Barbara and Charles Hill.
Bea is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Alta Womble, brothers Dellos Womble and Gene Womble, husbands J. Marvin ter Kuile, Lee Shellito and Jim Archer.
Interment followed at Chinquapin Cemetery in Van Zandt County.
