Bridge Studio holds annual Christmas party

CEDAR CREEK LAKE-The Bridge Studio at Cedar Creek held its “Country Christmas Party” and bridge game Dec. 13 with 50 players participating.
The entry fee for the game was a new unwrapped toy or $10 which was presented to Jane Horton representing The Gun Barrel City Toys for Tots Campaign.
The bridge players raised over $300 plus filled four BIG bags with toys. Sandy Hilliard was presented with over $500 for Santa’s Kids which is a charity that provides Christmas gifts for the foster children of Van Zandt County.  
Sandy has worked with Santa’s Kids for years and she told membersthat this year at Christmastime there were 174 kids in foster care.  Gloria Rowland and Evelyn Schmidt, the owners of the studio, provided the players with a delicious barbecue dinner catered by Vicky’s Bar-B-Q.  Everyone had a wonderful time.
