MALAKOFF–Martin Brumit has turned in his resignation as the Malakoff High School principal to take the superintendent position at Kerens ISD.
"Mr. Brumit has provided great leadership to this district for the last five years, and we wish him the very best in his new postition, said Malakoff ISD Superintendent Randy Perry. "Mr. Brumit was named the lone-finalist as the leader of Kerens ISD on May 10."
Brumit’s first official day at Kerens will be July 1.
