Carol Yon Morel was born to parents, William and Charmaine Yon, May 4, 1952. She entered into eternal rest
Jan. 9, 2021. Carol was a beautiful lady with a precious, loving spirit. She spent her life bringing joy to those around her and making their lives a better place. Carol had a servant’s heart and spent time volunteering for CASA for children in need. She went several times before the court to help children who desperately needed someone to be their voice and Carol stood for them and worked to make their lives safer. She showed them love, compassion and understanding when no one else would. Carol was always so open, welcoming and accepting. She made it easy and comfortable for anyone to be able to share their burdens, sorrows and their joy with her.
Carol also had a tremendous passion for animals. She followed that passion and opened “A P.E.T.S Palace” in Gun Barrel City, her own personal doggy daycare. She absolutely loved it and she treated every single one as her own. Carol married her best friend, Roger, in May of 1991 and together they blended their beautiful family and became one. The love they had for one another can be seen in the love all of their children have for each other. Her greatest treasure in this life was the family she built. She loved nothing more than putting together an enormous feast for them, no matter how many were going to be there, she would always cook like she was going to feed an army and then some. Carol was a loving wife, dedicated sister and aunt, a devoted mother and absolutely adoring grandmother. She always made sure her family came first and they never questioned her love for them. She was an amazing woman who gave so much love to every life she touched and she was well loved in return. She will be dearly missed by each and every one. Carol was preceded in death by her father, William
F. Yon. She is survived by her beloved husband, Roger Morel; mother, Charmaine Yon; sons, Nicholas Ezerosky and wife Melissa, Nathan Ezerosky, Adam Morel and wife Kimberly Owens, Eric Morel and wife Kandena; seven grandchildren; sisters Cheryl Bakin and husband Tom, Cathy Benfer and husband Rick, and Claudia Rawls and husband Mark.
