NAVARRO COUNTY–A Navarro County Grand Jury indicted Jackie Ray “Cody” Grace on three cases of sexual assault, according to District Attorney Will Dixon.
Grace, a former Corsicana High School coach and teacher, was arraigned in January on three counts of improper relationships with students.
Dixon said Grace couldn’t be charged with improper student relationships due to a three-year statute of limitations.
A Corsicana Independent School District aide from Carroll Elementary was no billed, which means the Grand Jury decided that insufficient evidence existed for an indictment or criminal charge.
The teacher’s aide was investigated by Corsicana ISD for an alleged incident, Tuesday, March 26, of dragging a 5-year-old student with developmental disabilities across the floor by his legs, leaving carpet burns on his head.
