Cross Roads, Kerens players receive All-District honors

HENDERSON COUNTY–District 20-2A announced their All-District honors for the 2021 softball season with Kerens and Cross Roads players taking home multiple superlatives.
Kerens Kenadee Lynch was named the Class 2A Offensive Most Valuable Player. 
Kerens’ Madison Brumit took home 2A Sophomore Co-Newcomer of the Year alongside LaPoynor’s Emily Klutts.
The Kerens Lady Bobcats had five players named First Team All-District with Aniya Lawrence, Abigail Holt, Olivia Holt, McKenzie Bancroft and Leah Greene taking home honors.
The lone First Team All-District selection for Cross Roads was Alli Reynolds.
Emma Combs, Raygan Brooks and Ella Engel were named to Second Team All-District for Kerens.
Cross Roads had Brooke Lawrence, Jaydyn Baker and Hannah Vasquez named to Second Team All-District. 
Taking home honorable mentions for Kerens was Tiani Hall and for Cross Roads, Alyssa Thornberry and Skyler Mershon.
Named to Academic All-District for Kerens was Claudia Garcia with Cross Roads Lady Bobcats Brooke Lawrence, Alyssa Thornberry, Paige Loftin, Hannah Vazquez and Acadia Green also taking home honors.
