HENDERSON COUNTY–Jasmine Sherese Williams remains in Henderson County Jail Tuesday after Henderson County Sheriff’s Office personnel assisted U.S. Marshal’s Office with her arrest in the shooting death of Adan Lozano in the Deep Ellum section of Dallas June 21.
According to news reports, Dallas police responded to the 2600 block of Commerce Street just before 3 a.m. June 22 where they found Lozano wounded. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died. Another man, Robert Foreman, 28, was wounded in the shooting.
Police sought three suspects in the case after viewing surveillance video, Williams, DeAndre Wright, 17, and Kelsey Young, 17. The three allegedly followed the victim out of a 7-Eleven Store where the altercation occurred.
After Wright’s mother recognized him as the suspect wearing a backpack in the released footage, he turned himself in June 27. Kelsey Young was arrested by Dallas Police in a Deep Ellum parking lot June 22 according to media reports.
Williams was apprehended at the Shell station at State Highway 19 North in Athens. Bonds were set at $750,000 on the Capital Murder charge and $6,500 on Aggravated Assault.
