Dicky Renfro, 68, of Tyler entered eternal rest Feb. 18, 2021. Dicky was born July 21, 1952 in Ft. Worth to Thurman Dane Renfro and Grace Elizabeth Bell Renfro.
He was a man who was always hilarious. He had the funniest quirky personality that your just love to be around. He loved his family with his whole being and would fight anyone for them. He loved his grandchildren especially and loved telling stories. He was a truck driver by trade but his best times were spent at the ocean fishing. He enjoyed gardening and fishing and he passed down that love to his children. He was very proud to have 30 years of sobriety.
Dicky was preceded in death by his parents and brother David Wayne Renfro.
He is survived by his wife Lauren Renfro, children Tifani Schwartz and husband Richard, Dicky Renfro, Jr. and Lance Renfro, brother Tommy Renfro and wife Lisa, sisters Tonya Pearson and husband Guy and Vanessa Johnson and husband Arland, grandchildren Travis “Trip” Durham, Trevor Durham and Trista Durham.
Pallbearers were Richard Schwartz, Arland Johnson, Trea Johnson and Gary Antunes.
Funeral services were held Feb. 24, 2021 at Huckabee Memorial Chapel in Seven Points with Bro. Steven Palmer officiating. Interment followed the service in the Tool Cemetery.
