Early voting has begun for Malakoff election

MALAKOFF–Early voting is underway in the city, as it began Monday for the May 4 election.
Mayor Delois Pagitt runs unopposed for her seat. Council persons Tim Trimble and Jeanette King face opponents Kristi Dalrymple and Keith Knighton, along with write-in candidate Thomas Posey.
Registered voters can cast their ballots from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 26 and Monday April 29 and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 in the Administrative Offices at the Municipal Complex located at 109 South Melton Street in Malakoff.
The Municipal Complex will be open for voting from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Saturday, May 4.
