Eustace run-rules rival Kemp

EUSTACE–The Eustace Lady Bulldogs dominated at the plate in their district win over the Kemp Lady Yellowjackets April 13 at home.
It took just four innings, but the Lady Bulldogs hit double digits with a 16-1 win over the Lady ’Jackets.
Eustace scored on a single by Emma Reynolds, a double by Emma Bell, a passed ball during Sadie Jo Long’s at-bat, a single by Reynolds and a single by Bell in the first inning.
The Lady Bulldogs secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the first inning. Eustace’s big bats in the inning were led by singles by Reynolds, Bell and Gracey Pitchford, an error on a ball put in play by Long and a double by Bell.
Brooklyn Moore led the Lady Bulldogs  to victory in the pitcher's circle. Moore surrendered one run on one hit over four innings, striking out six and walking zero.
Eustace racked up ten hits on the day. Bell and Reynolds each managed three hits to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Reynolds led the Lady Bulldogs with three stolen bases.
Eustace is now 14-9 overall this season with a 7-4 record in 18-3A district play.
