Evelyne Teague

Evelyne Teague, 85, of Gun Barrel City entered into rest April 26, 2021. Evelyne was born March 8, 1936 in Berlin, Germany to Walter and Frida Grabert. 
Evelyne was always a hardworking and strong willed woman. Over the years, she gave 24 years of her life working at the Minyard Grocery Store while raising her five children. 
Evelyne loved her family and her dog “Flint.” She was known to be one of the Dallas Cowboys biggest fans. When she was not cheering on her team from the couch you could find her making some sort of dish in the kitchen, especially her German cuisines. Evelyne will forever live in the hearts of her loved ones.
Evelyne was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Frida Grabert, husband Wayland Ray Teague, daughters Candy and Sheila, son Glenn Teague and grandson Jetta Glenn Ray Teague. 
She is survived by sons Walter and wife Cheryl Teague  and  Jetta Teague, grandchildren Cody, Shannon, James, Jr, and Erica. Evelyne also leaves behind numerous family and friends who will miss her dearly. 
Funeral services were held May, 1, 2020 at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
