Gaylord Campbell was born Oct. 29, 1957 to parents Jim and Doris Gene Campbell in Warsaw, Ind., and passed from this life to be with Jesus on his 63rd birthday Oct. 29, 2020.
He was baptized as an infant and confirmed as a young teen in the Lutheran faith which he cherished all his life.
He married Sharon Hoffpauir in 1981. Gaylord worked with his father in Campbell Construction traveling all over the United States building many Walmarts, Starbucks, Hotels and many other projects. He and his father worked for 10 years in California before coming back to Texas.
Gaylord was preceded in death by his mother Doris Gene Campbell and wife Sharon.
He is survived by his father Jim and wife Dorothy of Kemp, daughter Connie Morgan and Scott of Nederland, sister Mary Rae Land and husband Jim of Indianapolis, Ind., brothers Brad Campbell and wife Linda of Gun Barrel City, Greg Campbell and wife Trudy of Gun Barrel City, grandaughter Cymber Morgan and husband Ashley, great-grandchildren Sagan and Everett of Wasilla Ala., grandsons Gage Morgan and fiancé Kristin of Nederland, Bryton Morgan of Nederland, special uncle George and wife Jane of Goshen, Ind. and many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Gaylord was known to always be happy and ready to help anyone. Gaylord was loved by All. There will be a private memorial at a later date.
