HENDERSON COUNTY–Henderson County Narcotics Investigators arrested a man driving through Gun Barrel City Monday night after a search led to the discovery of hidden hypodermic syringes and methamphetamines.
Lee Aaron Brasseaux, 34, of Murchison, was driving through the Willowwood subdivision at 7:45 p.m.
He committed several traffic violations.
Investigators Wayne Nutt, Kenneth Slaton and Gabriel Shue were working narcotics interdiction in Gun Barrel City, saw the illegal driving and stopped Brasseaux.
During the traffic stop, the team of investigators discovered suspected meth and hypodermic syringes hidden inside the vehicle. Brasseaux was charged with possession of a controlled substance and taken to the Henderson County Jail.
“Day and night, our investigators and deputies are on the hunt for illegal narcotics in this county,” Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said. “We are making it known to users and dealers that if they bring their narcotics here, they go to jail.”
