Wilderdog donates kibble for every purchase
CEDAR CREEK LAKE–Wilderdog, LLC, a company focused on making outdoor gear for dogs, has selected the Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake (HSCCL) as their September recipient for their “Purchase for a Pound Program.”
Wilderdog started their “Purchase for a Pound” program to be able to help the amazing people running rescues and shelters, often on limited resources. The program donates one pound of kibble for every purchase made at wilderdog.com. Each month, Wilderdog chooses a different rescue or shelter to receive the kibble donation. The company hopes this will allow shelters to free up funds for medical needs, supplies or even to save an animal’s life.
“We’re really excited to partner with the Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake this month,” said Wilderdog co-owner, Rachel Friedline. “The HSCCL serves both humans and animals in their community in a big way, and we’re happy to support their efforts in any way we can.”
The owners of Wilderdog have looked to adoption when they built their own canine families. All of their dogs have been adopted from local shelters, and they hope they can encourage others to find their next best friends in this way as well.
