Julia Ann Lucas

A graveside service for Julia Ann Lucas was held Nov. 28, 2020 at Salem Irene Cemetery in Irene. She was born Oct. 5, 1947 in Corsicana to parents Wilson and Rita (Millican) Chappell and entered into eternal rest Nov. 24, 2020 at the age of 73. 
Julia loved being outdoors gardening and working in her yard. She loved photography, shopping online and watching her soap operas. Julia also enjoyed a nice glass of wine, but her favorite thing was being with her grandchildren. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Julia will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her dearly. 
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charlie Lucas and brother Lovell Chappell. 
She is survived by her sons Rickey Lucas and wife Danna of Gun Barrel City, Randy Lucas of Payne Springs and Chris Miller of Midlothian, daughter Karla Lucas of Payne Springs, grandchildren Julie Kay “Jake” Baldwin and husband Shawn of Payne Springs, Tuff Lucas and wife Brittany of Payne Springs, Rowdy Lucas of Payne Springs, Destiny Lucas and fiancé Tucker of Payne Springs and Chelby Miller of Midlothian, great-grandchildren Rylie, Karter, Zoey and Delylah, brother Johnny Chappell and wife Donna of Bristol, brother-in-law Lonnie Lucas of Payne Springs, best friend Judge, numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
