Kemp drops district contest to Fairfield

KEMP–The Kemp Yellowjackets fell in their district home game against the Fairfield Eagles Oct. 15.
The ’Jackets fought hard, but the Eagles came out victorious 28-14.
Kemp quarterback Deacon Thompson rushed for 72 yards and one touchdown.
Aaron Quezada carried in the two-point play.
Laramie Greathouse was targeted once for a receiving touchdown and Hayden Stevenson punted the ball four times for 108 yards.
Defense played well and the battle was fought hard.
The Yellowjackets will get back to work this week before they travel to Eustace to take on the Bulldogs Oct. 22 for game three of district play.
