Kenneth Jordan

Funeral services for Kenneth Jordan were held March 11, 2019 at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank with Rev. Eston Williams officiating. A graveside service followed at Elm Gove Cemetery in Mabank. 
Kenneth was born Dec. 11, 1928 in Mabank to parents B.K.  and Minnie (Hall) Jordan and entered into eternal rest March 6, 2019 at the age of 90. 
Kenneth served his country in the United States Air Force, during World War II. 
After the service he worked for Dallas Fire Department, retiring after 25 years. Kenneth then drove a school bus for Mabank ISD for 12 years. 
He loved working his farm and cows. He enjoyed gardening and camping with his RV Club, Cedar Creek Lakers. 
Kenneth was Methodist by faith and attended Rope, Catch and Ride for Christ Cowboy Church. 
He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Kenneth will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Max Jordan, Murlin Jordan, Roland Leon Jordan and Rexall Jordan, sisters Doris Kennemore and Vida Jones. 
He is survived by his loving wife Maxine Jordan of Mabank, son Barry Jordan and wife Lisa of Rockwall, step-son Mike Pryor of Quitman, grandchildren Brittany Kirkpatrick, Taylor Jordan, Jared Jordan, Michelle Dorsey and Mike Pryor, Jr., eight great-grandchildren, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
