Kerens Bobcats starts training for season

KERENS–Kerens High School football started conditioning and non-contact practice, also known in Texas as "two-a-days," early Monday morning, Aug. 6. The first day of fullcontact drills, under University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules, is Saturday, Aug. 11. The Bobcats football team has a scrimmage scheduled at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17 in Italy, versus Chilton. The Kerens High School football team opens its regular season at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, at home against Blooming Grove.
