MABANK–Five-year old Kyson Lawrence has always had a dream of playing football, however he has cerebral palsy, so his mom wasn't sure that it would be safe for him. She recently reached out to Kirby's Kids to see if they had any knowledge of an organization where he could safely play football.
Kirby’s Kids reached out to all local organizations and the response was phenomenal. Eustace and Kemp both agreed to allow him to be an honorary team member, but since he will attend Mabank, they had to contact them. Mabank not only accepted Kyson, they are waiving his fees.
Kirby’s Kids are so proud of our communities willing to come together to allow this little guy to fulfill his dreams.
It's the organization’s understanding they had to go to the league to make sure all teams were on board. Kyson is now an official Mabank Panther football player.
