Eustace takes down Lee in offensive outburst
TYLER–The Eustace Lady Bulldogs only needed three innings to take down the Lee Lady Raiders March 11 on the road.
The Lady Bulldogs got the game started early as they exploded for six runs in the top of the first inning to take an early 6-0 lead.
Lee responded with a single run in the bottom half of the inning as they trailed 6-1 after the first inning.
The Lady Bulldogs added another four runs in the top of the second inning as they increased their lead to 10-1 after the first two innings.
Eustace’s bats got even hotter in the top of the third inning as they put up eight runs in the third inning as they took down the Lady Raiders 18-2.
Brooklyn Moore picked up the victory on the mound for the Lady Bulldogs with three innings of work, striking out four batters in the win. Moore also led the way at the plate for Eustace with three hits and four RBIs.
Dawson Davlin and Ashton Milner added two hits each for Eustace while Lauren Herring had three RBIs and Kayla Lovelady knocked in two runs for the Lady Bulldogs.
The win moves Eustace to 6-12-1 on the season.
Eustace has a bye March 22 before returning to the diamond Friday, March 29 on the road against the Rice Lady Bulldogs with first pitch at 6 p.m.
