Laura Vivian Orsak Stepp

Laura Vivian Orsak Stepp was born March 24, 1969 in Richardson.  She was the eldest child of Sam and Barbara Orsak. She has a sister Elisha Orsak Cotten and brothers James Stephen Orsak and Robert Timothy Orsak.  
In 1977, the Orsak’s moved to Mabank.  Laura attended Mabank Elementary, Mabank Jr. High and Mabank High School. At Mabank High School, Laura was on the annual staff and she played the flute in the MHS band. She also was in Flags and enjoyed marching in all the Mabank parades.  
After her graduation in 1987, Laura lived in Duncanville with her grandparents and attended Mountain View College.  She worked as a church secretary at the Duncanville Church of Christ with her grandfather Eddie Roden.  As a church secretary, she edited the bulletin and helped to keep the accounting records. She also planned many of the Mother-Daughter Banquets.
Laura married Tony Cyrill Stepp, ll Feb. 17, 1989, at the Duncanville Church of Christ. They have two children T.C. and Katelyn.  
Laura began selling Mary Kay and won many awards. Laura enjoyed designing and selling crafts at First Monday Trades-day in Canton.
She was very talented in designing shirts and arranging her booth to display her handiworks.  She made many friends and was very helpful to everyone.  Laura enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.   She took them each year to Six Flags and the water parks. She was a kind and loving Aunt.  They all called her Aunt ‘LaLa.’
She entered into eternal rest June 22, 2020.  Her youngest brother Robert Timothy Orsak preceded her in death in 2011.  
Laura is survived by her loving husband Tony Cyrill Stepp, ll, sons Tony Cyrill Stepp, lll and wife Taylea and William, daughter Katelyn Anne Stepp, all of Cedar Hill and she is also survived by her mother-in-law Lynda Lovett Stepp of Raymond, Miss.
Laura is also survived by her parents Sammy and Barbara Orsak of Roddy, sister Elisha Orsak Cotten, husband Mike and daughter Brooklyn, all of Ft. Worth, brother J. Stephen Orsak, wife Farrah and children Trevor, Tyler, Tenley and Trey, all of Cedar Creek Lake, sister-in-law Kelly Cotten Price, children Ethan and Sydney Orsak, all of Weatherford. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel at 811 S. Cockrell Hill Rd., Duncanville with graveside services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 25,  at the Elm Grove Cemetery, Roddy.
