Linda Ann Dalrymple

Linda Ann Dalrymple, 74, of Kemp passed away peacefully at her home Dec. 4, 2021 with her family and loved ones by her side. She is now reunited with her husband of 50 years, Billy Don Dalrymple.
Linda was born in Kaufman June 20, 1947. She was the eldest daughter of Odell Stamper and Elsie Kennedy-Roland. She met and married her husband Billy Don, Dec. 24, 1966 in Balch Springs. They later built their family home in Kemp where they raised their children and numerous grandchildren.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her world and she was over the moon seeing all of her great-grandchildren being brought into this world.
Her hobbies included cooking, reading, playing with her dog Lil Bit and spending time with family. She was a kind soul, always helpful and dependable.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Billy Don Dalrymple, her parents, step-father Bill Roland and brother Donnie Stamper.
She is survived by her daughters Tammy Haar and husband Toby of Kemp and Dawn Thompson and husband Greg of Mabank, sons Elvis Dalrymple and wife Debi of Kemp and son Shane Dalrymple of Kemp, siblings Debbie Piacente, Tina Parker, Tommy Stamper and Steve Stamper, 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021 and Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2021 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp. Graveside service will follow the chapel service at King Cemetery in Aley. Reverend Danny Weems will officiate.
