Linda Evelyn (Sheller) Owens

Linda Evelyn (Sheller) Owens was born Dec. 13, 1946 to parents Floyd and Dorothy Sheller. She entered into eternal rest Aug. 31, 2021.
Linda married the love of her life, Leonard Owens Sept. 7, 1963 and they began their life’s journey together.
Linda was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was all about family, she could always be found spoiling her grandkids and taking in all the “strays,” her other babies that she just took in and loved like her own.
Linda was a lover of the outdoors, she enjoyed hunting and fishing. She also loved sewing and cooking for her family.
Linda was an LVN for South Place Nursing Home, Kemp Care Center and Presbyterian Kaufman and spent the last 15 years working in home health.
Linda was a kind and compassionate woman with a heart of gold. She will be truly missed by anyone who knew her.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Lloyd and Gerald Sheller, sister Mary Sheller, grandchildren April Whitley, Thomas Hyde and Kelly Swearingen.
She is survived by husband, sons Leonard Owens, Jr. and wife Rhonda and Michael Owens and wife Tabatha, daughters Michelle Carson and husband Dan and Jayna Hyde, 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, sisters Wanda McGlaun and husband Kenneth and Judy Meyers and husband Jimmy, brother Floyd Sheller and wife Debbie. Linda also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, other loved ones and lifelong friends.
