On June 23, 2019, Elizabeth Arsenault, loving mother to her daughters, lost her long battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at age 78.
Liz was born May 24, 1941, in Jersey City, N.J. to John G. Ege and Kathryn Egenee Scully.
She spent 30 years at a career she loved as a surgical nurse for heart teams and traveled the last three years to many hospitals including Fort Myers, Fla., Duke University, Neb., and New Jersey. She loved her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her Maltese, Enzo and Yorkie, Basil.
Liz is preceded in death by her father, John G. Ege, mother Kathryn Ege, sister Constance Borow, many aunts and uncles, her beloved Golden Retriever Max, and her Malteses Jingles and Molly.
She is survived by her daugthers Sharon Stenger of Tool and Cate and Phil Lemke of Newton, Iowa, grandchildren Anthony and Stephanie Horn of Dunnellon, Fla., Timothy Horn of Jacksonville, Fla. and Cody Lane of Mesquite, great-grandchildren Maddox, Sophia, Roberto and Janice.
A planned celebration of life will be held at a later date in Fort Myers Beach, Fla.
