Mabank partners with Terrell for vaccines

MABANK–Mabank City Council approved an interlocal agreement with the City of Terrell for a local COVID-19 vaccination center during the regular council meeting held April 6.
The center will be held at the Mabank Pavilion once a week and requires online registration at https://www.solvhealth.com/book-online/A27Yyp. The city said they hope to provide 200 Moderna vaccines, between 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays. April 13 will be the first day the clinic is open.
In other business, council members:
• Reviewed and amended the minutes from the March 17 Special Session Meeting. 
• Approved facility use Ordinance No. 2021-04 listing the fees and provisions for use of city facilities. 
• Approved a Noise Ordinance No. 2021-03 prohibiting construction work between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. on weekdays and 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. on weekends and holidays with a stipulation for summer months regarding concrete pouring.
• Heard staff reports from Code Ordinance, Police and Fire departments.
