Mackie Lee Brown, 78, passed away May 16, 2020. He was born March 29, 1942, in Seven Points to the home of Mable and Frank Brown.
Mackie spent his life around the Cedar Creek Lake area. He was self-employed as a concrete contractor. He attended the Calvary Baptist Church. During his downtime, he enjoyed being outdoors going deer, coon and hog hunting with his dogs. His true passion in life was his beloved family and dear friends.
Mackie was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ricky Paul Brown, niece Regina Goodwin and a nephew Jeremy Don Brennan-Brown.
He is survived by the love of his life of 60 years Carolyn Brown, daughter Kimberly Brown, grandchildren Chelsie Nicole Brown and Mackendan Lee Brown, brothers William Brown and wife Alice, Ronnie Brown and wife Janice, Jerry Don Brown and wife Lisa and John Brown and wife Cindy, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bro. Derek Rogers, with the Cowboy Church of Corsicana will be officiating the service for the Brown Family.
The Brown Funeral is under the arrangements of Moorhead Funeral Home in Gun Barrel City.
