GUN BARREL CITY–A traffic stop in Eustace Wednesday led to the arrest of a Gun Barrel City man on a Felony Possession charge.
Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputy Victor Parras, was working Patrol on Farm to Market Road 316 in Eustace when Parras noticed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. Deputy Parras stopped the vehicle for the traffic violation. A search of the vehicle revealed a substantial amount of suspected methamphetamine inside of Chistopher White’s property.
Christopher Shawn White, 44, of Gun Barrel was arrested and booked in for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1 greater than or equal to 4 Grams and less than 200 Grams, which is a Second Degree Felony and carries a sentence of not more than 20 years or less than two years and a fine not to exceed $10,000.
