Marcia Gena Saylor

Marcia Gena Saylor was born Nov.18, 1941, in Hutchinson, Kan., to parents Robert and Effie Pennington. She entered into eternal rest Sept. 18, 2021 at the age of 79.
Marcia was raised on a family farm in Kansas until moving to the Coachella Valley in California. After graduating high school, Marcia moved to Indio, Calif. and met her future husband William Saylor. They fell in love and were married Feb. 12, 1971 and began their life’s journey together.
William was a Navy Airman and they moved to Hawaii. They lived on Barbers Point Naval Base where William was stationed at the time, later settling in Texas.
Marcia was a devoted wife, dedicated mother and doting grandmother. She was a hardworking and honest woman.
Marcia loved nature, she enjoyed being outside and working on her garden. She loved to travel and experience new places.
In her free time, when she just wanted to relax, she enjoyed coloring. Marcia’s favorite pastime was spending time with her beautiful family and making memories that will last them a lifetime.
Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers James, John and Richard Pennington.
She is survived by her children Debbie Hinchliffe and husband Raymond and Robert Saylor and fiancé Katherine Kreis, grandchildren Ian Robert Saylor, Brandie, Crystal, Philip, Brad, Robert and David Bradford, Amber, Albrey and Andre Hinchliffe. Marcia also leaves behind many other loved ones and lifelong friends.
