Mary Virginia Marks

Mary Virginia Marks was born March 18, 1933 in Parkin, Ark., to parents Willie K. Harris and Mildred L. (Place) Harris and entered into eternal rest May 26, 2020 at the age of 87.
Mary was as a good Christian woman, a self-taught artist and a seamstress. She also crocheted and quilted her whole life. Mary enjoyed going fishing and hunting. She loved working on genealogy and learning about her family tree.  
Mary was lovingly known as “Honey Bunny.” She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gun Barrel City. Mary was passionate about caring for others and she will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cecil L. Marks, brother Alvin Harris, ex-husband Charles Webb and grandson Raymond Webb, Jr.
She is survived by daughter Connie Samford and husband Kenny of Gun Barrel City, sons Raymond Webb, Sr. and wife Helen of Houston and Jimmy Marks and wife Pernecia of Midland, grandchildren Carrie Ann Samford of Gun Barrel City, Kenny Samford and wife Meagan of Eustace, Chance Samford and wife Yolanda of Houston, LaDawn Flores and spouse Jimmy of Weatherford, Trenton Marks and wife Tana of Odessa, Michael Marks of Ft. Stockton, Meagan Marks of San Angelo, Jeff Webb of Houston, Mike Gomez and wife Taylor of Lovington, N.M., Michelle Johnson of Houston and Suzette Gengerke and husband Ryan of South Dakota, sisters Etta Graham of Arlington, Beatrice Scates of Rio Rancho, N.M., Ruby Hubbard of Roswell, N.M. and Eugenia Olson of Edgewood, N.M., brother Billy Joe Harris of Roswell, N.M., 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
