Motorcycle wreck sends three to hospital

SEVEN POINTS–An accident in Seven Points March 4 involving two motorcycles at the 1000 block of East Cedar Creek Parkway sent three individuals to the hospital. 
Seven Points Police Department along with Seven Points Fire Rescue and UT Emergency Medical Services arrived on scene to render aide to three individuals who were injured during the accident. 
According to a press release, none of the motorcycles hit any other vehicle. Witnesses state that the motorcycles were headed east towards Gun Barrel City and came up on a vehicle stopped at the intersection of Nob Hill and East Cedar Creek Parkway and when they went to stop suddenly, they laid their motorcycles over and slid on the concrete. 
One male operator of a motorcycle was transported to UT Health Athens in stable condition, while his female passenger was flown by UT Health helicopter to UT Tyler in critical condition. The other male operator went to UT Health via a personal vehicle. 
Seven Points Police Department would like to remind everyone that with the construction going on that they should drive responsibly and always watch out for motorcycles.
