GUN BARREL CITY–The Henderson County Narcotics Team working for Sheriff Botie Hillhouse arrested wanted Gun Barrel City felon, Corwin Lee Hodges, 28, who was caught with methamphetamines and a glass pipe commonly used to smoke the drug.
Hodges was spotted by the three-man team while they were working narcotics interdiction outside his hometown’s Hidden Hills Subdivision. He was stopped after committing several traffic violations and was known to be wanted by the State of Texas Parole Division. Hodges was also wanted for a Burglary of a Vehicle charge.
When investigators took Hodges into custody, they found he was carrying a clear plastic baggie and a glass pipe which both contained meth.
Hodges was taken to the Henderson County Jail after the 7 p.m. arrest and was charged with parole violation, the burglary of a vehicle warrant and possession.
“Thanks in large part to the community’s continued support of this Office during these turbulent times,” said Sheriff Hillhouse, “I want the people to know our dedicated deputies continue to enforce the law in this county.”
