HENDERSON COUNTY–It’s been a year since Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse and deputies responded to a home in the 20000 block of Woodridge West, south of Chandler to find 47-year-old Gabriel McBride and his daughter Beverly McBride, 17, shot in the head inside the home.
Beverly was pronounced dead at the scene and her father, Gabriel died later in a Tyler hospital.
Hillhouse said the investigation is still ongoing and a $10,000 reward offered by Crime Stoppers is still active for anyone who provides information leading to an arrest or conviction in the case.
The number for Crime Stoppers is 1 (800) 545-TIPS.
Hillhouse said he can be reached at (903)675-5128.
“Time does not matter in a case like this,” Hillhouse said. “We are actively investigating and following up on tips constantly. Everyone on this team is determined to solve this case.”
