Pamela Taylor Gillilan

Pamela Taylor Gillilan, 72, of Tool entered her heavenly home and gained her Angel Wings Aug. 17, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Pamela was born Aug. 31, 1948 to Jimmy (Bartle) and John James Taylor in Kansas City, Mo.
She was a woman of great faith and integrity, loved her family and friends dearly. An exceptional caregiver, she found joy in volunteering, reading, gardening and making people laugh with her wittiness.
Pamela was proceeded in death by her husband Mitch Gillilan and parents.
She is survived by daughter Lara Wedel and husband Scott, sons Michael Roe Hostettler and wife Teresa and Gregory James Yarbrough, grandchildren Heather Wedel, Gabriel Wedel, Hannah Santizo and husband David, James Christopher Barnett-Hostettler, Jacob Barnett-Hostettler and Anna-Belle Rose Hostettler, one great grandchild and one on the way, sisters Sandy Taylor and husband Chuck Vail and Lynnda Burroughs, nephew Clayton Taylor Burroughs and wife India and greatnephew and nieces.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 2021 at Styx New Life Church, 31800 FM 85 in Kemp.
From 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021 family and friends not able to attend the services will be a come and go.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Helping Hands Senior Living, 10809 Middleglen Road, Haslet, TX, 76052 -Please put in notes – in honor of Ms. Pam. This is the group home mom was staying and they LOVED her as she did them. We were blessed and the family would like to help bless Helping Hands with the next tenant or Alpha Baptist Church, 1122 N. Seven Points Blvd., Seven Points, TX, 75143. Please put in notes in honor of Pamela Gillilan. This is mom’s church that she loved and would give of herself and help send children and teens to camp.
