Reba Steelman

Funeral services for Reba Steelman were held April 3, 2019 at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank with Pastor Don Bell officiating. Interment followed the service to Payne Springs Cemetery.

Reba was born May 3, 1937 in Eustace to parents Hubert Edgar and Beatrice (Roark) Bonsal and entered into eternal rest April 1, 2019 at the age of 81.

Reba attended Eustace Schools and worked as a bookkeeper in banking. Reba was always very neat and orderly. Her grandchildren were all #1.

Reba enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, feeding the birds and fishing. Reba loved cats and took great pride in locating homes for them. She was a "Supervisor Deluxe," her way or no way and she was always in charge.

Reba liked knowing what was going on in the neighborhood. She loved and cared for everyone. Reba was a wonderful caregiver. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Reba will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Reba was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Glen Allen Meredith, second husband Charles Edgar Hines and late husband Edward Don Steelman, brothers Alvin Brownlow, Clarence Bonsal, Robert Bonsal, Lavon Bonsal, Darrell Bonsal, sisters Mary Lucille Bonsal Whatley Perkins, Hughla Fae Bonsal Beets, Lela Bonsal Oldham and grandson Michael Wayne Holland.

She is survived by her son Charles Wayne Hines of Kemp, daughters Pamela Khan of Kemp, D’Lana Meredith Thompson and husband Todd of Kemp and Stephanie Kay Silvey of Kemp, granddaughter Aiyana Faith Guerra, grandsons Justin Allen Holland, Garrett Wayne Culps, Hayden Gage Hines, Matox Rey Guerra and Brandon Wayne Pace, great-granddaughter Ruth Dudley, great-grandsons Sylus Holland, Sebastian Holland and Wilder Pace, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
