With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Teresa Fosse, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched Sept. 10, 2021, unexpectedly in her “Happy Place” at her home in Mississippi. She just recently celebrated her 59th birthday when she gained her angel wings.
Teresa lived a full life as a mother, homemaker, wife and friend. She was a master cook in the kitchen, had a vivacious personality and was highly skilled with an artistic ability that allowed her to transform everything she interacted with, from objects to people.
Teresa was a beach girl at heart, with a free spirit that made people around her laugh and form friendships everywhere she went. She was a fierce woman – holding fast to her beliefs, defending those she loved and always seeking the fun and joy in life.
Teresa’s life would seem too short for many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. She spent the last year of her life traveling with her husband seeing the country and all her children and grandchildren.
Teresa Lee Fosse (Jones) was born Sept. 8, 1962, in Marion, Ill., to parents Donald and Rose Jones and is survived by her sons David Shea, Jared Fosse, Jesse Fosse, A.J McCorkle (stepson) and only daughter Kelly Bryan, father Donald L. Jones of Vaiden, Miss., brother Donald E. Jones and wife Theresa of Malakoff, sister Carol Horan and husband Davis of Boyce and beloved husband of 26 years William C. McCorkle (Bill), as well as her grandchildren Ashlynn, Gavin, Novalie, Madison, Landon, Uriah, Zaire, Hayden, Leighton, Reagan, Collin, Sadie, Bradley and Avery.
