CEDAR CREEK LAKE—The March 5 primary election kicks off with early voting beginning Tuesday, Feb. 20 until Friday, March 1. In Henderson County incumbent Wendy Kinabrew Spivey runs for Commissioner Precinct 1 against Mike McCabe and Brad Skiles. Constable Precinct 2 candidates are Francisco Gomez and Jason Ramsey, and Precinct 4 Constable candidates are Paul Ellzey and Frank Serrato. 
Unopposed elections for up for reelection are incumbents Sheriff Botie Hillhouse, County Attorney Clint Davis, Tax Assessor-Collector Peggy Goodall, Commissioner Precinct 3 Charles “Chuck” McHam, Constable Precinct 1 Thomas Goodell, Constable Precinct 3 David Grubbs and Constable Precinct 5 Brad Miers. 
Texas Representative District 4, incumbent Keith Bell will run against republican candidate Joshua Feuerstein and democratic candidate Alex Bar-Sela. 
Early voting locations for Henderson County include:
• The Help Center – Legacy Center located at 807 North Palestine in Athens 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday Feb. 20 through Friday Feb. 23 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24 and Monday Feb. 26 through Friday March 1 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25
• Seven Points City Hall located at 428 East Cedar Creek Parkway in Seven Points 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday Feb. 20 through Friday, Feb. 23 and Saturday Feb. 24 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday Feb. 26 through Friday March 1.
• First United Methodist Church Heritage Hall located at 501 North Second Street in Chandler. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday Feb. 20 through Friday Feb. 23 and Monday Feb. 26 through Thursday Feb. 29 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday March 1. 
• Henderson County Larue Complex located at 9551 County Road 4719 in Larue 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday Feb. 20 through Friday Feb. 23 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday Feb. 26 through Friday March 1. 
In Kaufman County, running for County Court at Law No. 1 is Karen Badgley, Deborah Bonner, Richard Harrison Jr. and Joseph Russell. In the race for Sheriff is incumbent Bryan Beavers and opponent Rodney Evans. The candidates for Commissioner Precinct 1 are incumbent Mike Hunt, Terry Crow and Jimmy Joe Vrzalik. The Commissioner Precinct 3 race includes Kelly Lane and incumbent Terry Barber. Running for Constable Precinct 4 is Vanessa Brooks and Tell Walker. 
Unopposed candidates in Kaufman County include Teressa Floyd for County Tax Assessor-Collector, Shawn Mayfield for Constable Precinct 1, Jason Johnson for Constable Precinct 2 and Matt Woodall for Constable Precinct 3. 
Early voting locations for Kaufman County will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20 through Friday, Feb. 23., 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24., Noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26 through Friday, March 1 at the following locations:
• Kaufman County Library- Community Room located at 3790 South Houston Street in Kaufman. 
• Forney Sub Courthouse- Court Room located at 200 East Main Street in Forney.
• Terrell Sub Courthouse- Training Center located at 408 East College Street in Terrell. 
• Kemp Sub Courthouse- Court Room located at 103 North Main Street in Kemp. 
• Crandall/Combine Community Center- Community Room located at 500 West Lewis Street in Crandall. 
• Forney ISD Opportunity Central “The OC”- Suite 1306 Door 46 located at 680 Innovation Blvd in Forney.
