CEDAR CREEK LAKE–The Nov. 8 election which decides area city council and school board trustee positions results are as follows. Results are as of press time at 10:05 p.m.
In the City of Tool election to elect a candidate for one - one year term John Brasfield won with 357 votes against Kathleen Donoghue who earned 307 votes. Three-two-year terms for Tool City Council were decided from four candidates. Candidates Greg Figueroa, Mark Holley and Incumbent Mike Dumont won those seats with 434, 275 and 304 votes respectively. Stephanie Love earned 235 votes. 
Malakoff ISD also conducted an election to determine four trustee positions among nine candidates. Tina Crawford, Jason Dalrymple, Holly Perry and Kyle Harris were able to secure seats with their voting totals of 1095, 1034, 911 and 760 votes respectively. Matthew Jones earned 519 votes, Sean McKean earned 499 votes, Adabeth Routt-Shumate earned 751 votes, Pat Jones earned 710 votes and Rick Vieregge earned 633 votes. 
Cross Roads ISD held an election to determine three positions among four candidates. Incumbents Naomi Logan and Wade Braddock ran against Felicia Baker and Chuck Brown with Baker, Logan and Braddock securing seats among the board. Their votes were 556 votes, 484 votes and 485 votes respectively with Brown casting the least amount of votes at 437. 
The Henderson County Justice of the Peace Pct. 4 office election has one position with two candidates competing for the seat. Incumbent Milton Adams and Cornelius Hambrick faced off for the position. Adams won the seat with 5,632 votes against Hambrick’s 1,101 votes.  
In the Texas Governor’s race, incumbent Greg Abbott won against candidate Beto O’Rourke earning 22,829 votes from Henderson County to O’Rourke’s 4,772 votes.
