Eustace golfer heads to second-straight State

Eustace junior Landry Huggins advances to the Class 3A girls' golf State championship at Austin's Jimmy Clay Golf Course May 4-5 after winning Regional runner-up at the Class 3A Region 2 tournament held April 15-16 in Bullard, shooting an 80 and 82, totaling 162 for the Regional. Huggins also competed at last year's Class 3A State Golf Championship in Austin.

Homicide in the City of Tool

TOOL‑ Lieutenant Jason Lee of the Tool Police Department released the following statement April 27.
The Tool Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on the evening of April 24, 2026.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the City of Tool regarding a reported burglary in progress. The officer arrived within minutes of the call and made contact at the scene.
