Mabank soldier passes in training accident

FORT CAMPBELL, KY—Sgt. Aaron Cox, 24 of Mabank has been identified as the soldier who died as a result of a training accident near Camp Croft in Hungary June 5. 
Cox was an Infantryman assigned to the “Strike” 2nd Mobile Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He died resulting of wounds from a vehicle accident during preparations for the upcoming Exercise Saber Guardian 25 in Hungary.

Students who began their educational career in Pre-K at Central Elementary now moving on to the Intermediate School led the Pledge of Allegiance at the May 19 School Board meeting. KAUFMAN COUNTY–Capital murder fugitive Trevor McEuen was taken into custody following the execution of a coordinated search warrant by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), in collaboration with multiple local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, in the early morning hours of Monday, June 2.
