The Rockmollys entertain eventgoers at last year’s Wildflower Festival. The band takes the stage again at this year’s event on April 8, from 1 to 4 p.m.

KEMP– Kemp city leaders discussed the annual Wildflower Festival at the Kemp City Council meeting held on March 14, giving details on vendors, food, and more.
According to City Administrator Regina Kiser, more than 120 vendors have signed up for the event, and the city has closed vendor sign-ups due to lack of space for more. Of those signed up, 17 food trucks will be stationed at the event to feed the masses.
Eventgoers can also enjoy live music by Dallas-based band The Rockmollys from 1 to 4 p.m. The band plays covers of popular music from the 70s to today, along with original compositions, and were a hit at last year’s festival.
The event is sponsored by Kemp Mini Storage, Tri-County Ford, Lakeside Animal Clinic, McAfee Insurance, Lisa Rhodes of Keller Williams, Dairy Queen, Harvey’s Towing & Recovery The Garrison, Project Kemp, Harmony Bank, Beacon Hill, and many other local businesses.
The event will be downtown at Kemp City Park on April 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and promises fun for the entire family.
