Eustace announces volleyball All-District honors

EUSTACE–After wrapping up their season in the Bi-district round of the playoffs to Whitney, the Eustace Lady Bulldogs announced their All-District and Academic All-District teams for the 2022 season.
Eustace finished the season in second place in their district with a 12-2 record and 23-10 overall. 
Lyra Landrum took home Offensive Player of the Year with Bailey Billings being named the Defensive Player of the Year. Emma Bell was announced as the Hitter of the Year for the Lady Bulldogs.
Avery Reeve took home the lone First Team All-District honor.

Payne Springs celebrates with Fifty Fest

The City of Payne Springs holds Fifty Fest Oct. 29 to benefit the Payne Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Mabank High School Teacher Nicci Romero brought 16 BETA Club students to volunteer in every area of the event and recruited three teens from additional schools.
