Funeral services for Marilyn (Moorman) Tate, 77, of Jacksonville were held June 7, 2025 at Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler. Interment followed at the Flint Cemetery.
Marilyn passed away June 2, 2025 at her residence in Jacksonville.
She was born July 3, 1947 in Kaufman to Charles Edward and Marie (McKinney) Moorman.
She was a graduate of Kemp High School class of 1965. Following graduation she attended Henderson County Junior College and East Texas State University, where she was a member of Alpha Chi and the Texas Student Education Association.
Michael Herbert Cloyes, 75, of Gun Barrel City, passed away May 19, 2025.
Mike was born in Kansas City, Miss., Dec. 5, 1949 and was a long-time resident of Gun Barrel City. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for many years, retiring from active-duty service in 1989.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Herbert H. Cloyes and Ethel Melba Cloyes (England).
Gary Stephen Barclay, 66, of Gun Barrel City, passed away at his home May 31, 2025 following a battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 5, 1958 in Carthage to Milton Wayne Barclay and Marjorie Overton-Barclay.
Growing up, Gary lived in Seagoville where he attended Seagoville High School and graduated in 1977.
In 1994, Gary began his respected career as a Licensed Real Estate Home Inspector, which he excelled at. In 2008 he relocated to Gun Barrel City.
After meeting cherished wife, Lisa Schmidt, in 2004, they were married Oct. 20, 2018 in Destin, Fla.
