Susan Neal Wisdom, 69, of Eureka, passed away unexpectedly May 4, 2025, at her residence. She was born Sept. 7, 1955, in Smith County, daughter of the late Gene and Reba Neal. 
She was born in Tyler and grew up in Mount Pleasant. Later, she graduated from Marshall Senior High School where she met her husband before moving to Navarro County to start a family of her own. 
Susan got her bachelors of business administration from Sam Houston St. University in 1977.

Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church Reverend Kristin Rockwell (left) said, ”This is so much fun. I am grateful that the school lets us come and share this with the kids.” The boutique was a dream of Rockwell’s and with the help of church volunteers and Principal Brandi Sutton the dream has continued for three years.

Kaufman County fugitive still at large

KAUFMAN COUNTY–Kaufman County murder suspect Trevor McEuen, 36, failed to appear for his jury trial set May 5. According to a press release from Kaufman County District Attorney Erleigh Wiley, “Information received is that McEuen removed his leg monitor in the early morning hours, violating bond conditions put in place by the 422nd District Court.”
