Frances Marie “Frankie” Phillips, 74, of Kemp passed away Feb. 28, 2024, at her home. Frankie was born Nov. 16, 1949, in Bartlesville, Okla., to Stephen Curtis and Dorothy Mae (Heaton) Hinshaw.  
Frankie graduated in Midland as a member of the class of 1967. She married the love of her life, Keith Phillips Sept. 1, 1978, in Midland and they spent a loving 45 years together.  
They went on to have sons David and Carson. She led a full life with family being the most important to her and she accomplished her goals earning degrees while working full time and raising a family which included a BA, MA, and PHD from University of Texas in Arlington. 
Frankie pursued a career in the nursing field where she was able to help to care for others. Majority of her career was invested in Presbyterian of Kaufman along with the VA hospital and spent three years teaching others as a professor at the University.  
Frankie spent her time cross stitching, needlepointing, crocheting and reading books when she was not tending to her family or working. 
She did enjoy watching her Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers play, even making it to several Rangers games last season. 
Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, along with her four siblings. 
She is survived by her husband, sons David Phillips and wife Lisa, and Carson Phillips and wife Kristan, grandchildren Jaxon, Emery, Norah and Logan along with numerous nieces and nephews extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
