Funeral services for Frankie Jean Hyde, 95, of Mabank were held June 13, 2023, at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home with Pastor Brent Tucker officiating. Interment followed at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Frankie passed away June 8, 2023 in Mabank. She was born April 15, 1928 in the Odom Community to Jesse Vell and Anna Jewel Gibson Merideth.
Jean was a member of First Baptist Church in Mabank. She grew up in the Odom Community until moving to Fort Worth during her Sophomore year in high school.  
Jean married J.M. “Spec” McLaughlin. She retired from Bell Helicopter after 38 years. Jean returned to Mabank when she married Connie Hyde.  
She loved to travel, read, play solitaire and surf the internet. Earlier in her life, Jean was very active in Eastern Star. She also raised and showed dogs. 
Frankie was preceded in death by her two husbands, daughter Mary Ann Gibbs and husband Phil, granddaughter Connie Marie, sisters Dorothy Anderson and husband Leroy and Bobbie Sessions, brother J.V. Meridith and wife Glee and nephew Reggie Anderson.
Jean is survived by daughter Pat and Eddie Moseley, son James Kevin and Pam Hyde, niece Melanie and Gregg Brunk, grandchildren Kim and Z., Melissa and Mikey, Scott and Katie, Katie and Darrell, Emily and David and Matt, great-nieces Erica and Aaron, Angela and Jason, Allyson and Todd and Ashley, great-nephew Quinn and Lindsey, brother-in-law Hugh Sessions, 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers were John Walter Hyde, Mikey Thompson, Scott Hyde, Matthew Gibbs, Jaden Lozano and Trevor Sullivan.
