Randall Keith Weidner was born in Runnels County April 23, 1951 to Betty and Lyod Weidner. He entered eternal peace Dec. 5, 2023 in Burlington, Vt. 
Along with his wife Paula, he owned and operated S&W Automotive in Mabank for over 20 years. He was honored with the prestigious Golden Wrench award for his outstanding service to the community. 
Although he was a tough man, he had a huge heart full of compassion for his family, friends, community and cats. He was always true to himself and encouraged others to do the same. He was dearly loved and will be missed forever. 
Randall was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Walter and Eddie Weidner, sister Susan Fesperman, first wife Frankie Jo Rogers and second wife Paula Larain Shofner-Weidner. 
He is survived by sisters Sherry Farnham, Karen Flores and Allison Provence, stepdaughter “Baby Girl” Jennifer Shofner, stepson “Bubba” James Shofner, grandson Skyler Shofner and wife Alyssa, great-granddaughter Ellia Opal Larain Shofner, his wife Lana Weidner and sons Hung, Thomas, and Randall and daughter Valerie. Randy was loved by countless other family, friends and people in the communities in Texas and Vermont. 
Randy will be laid to rest at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Vermont.
