Daniel Herbert Shaw, Jr. was born to parents Daniel Herbert Shaw, Sr. and Annie Corene (Caldwell) Shaw Feb. 14, 1944, becoming their very favorite Valentine's Day gift, ever.
When Dan married the love of his life, Sharon, he knew he had found his soul mate.
He was a good man, great son, devoted husband, loving father, doting grandfather and great-grandfather.
Together he and Sharon built a beautiful life together and made so many memories over the years. She truly was his best friend and when he lost her, his heart just broke and his loved ones could tell that he really had lost the zest for life without his partner at his side.
Dan carried on for his family for as long as he could and is now reunited with his beloved in Heaven.
In his free time he loved to read and spend time gardening and he enjoyed fishing. Dan was a hard working man, before retiring from his position at Solar Turbines as an electrician after many dedicated years.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
He is survived by his children Peggy Everett and husband Adam, Jim Shaw and wife Tammie and Kellie Armentrout and husband Marc, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was well loved and will be truly missed.
Dan was a faithful contributor to St. Judes and the family would be honored if anyone would like to donate to his or their charity, in honor of his memory.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.eubankcedarcreek.com for the Shaw family.
