Sisters Sara (front row, second from left) and Krista Hall have both impressively earned their amateur radio licenses issued by the Federal Communications Commission. Sara enjoys camping, bushcraft, land navigation, trail riding, drawing and painting. Krista enjoys the Linux operating system, programming, storm spotting and even morse code. Sara and Krista are both involved in off-road dirt bikes, Target rifle, 4H, goat and sheep programs and the Cedar Creek Amateur Radio Club (CCARC). Congratulating the girls is mother Melissa (front row, left) and father Ed (front row, right) along with CCARC members Lucy Gray (back row, from left), Don Lambertson, Charles Ligon, Mike Vaughan, Tex Herson, Ron Bean and Eric Muller. Youth and adults alike are welcome to join the fun at CCARC. The club meets at 10 a.m. every second Saturday of the month at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Gun Barrel City.
