Mabank Fire Department along with departments from Gun Barrel City, Payne Springs, Kemp, Eustace, Seven Points and South Van Zandt respond to a large fire that started in a field on County Road 4011a in the Prairieville area of Kaufman County the afternoon of Nov. 23. The smoke that filled the air could be seen from as far away as Seagoville. No injuries were reported.
